The Matrix

It has been quite a few years since the film ‘The Matrix’ was released.  This whole film is a great allegory for consciousness.  The characters in the film are living in the matrix – a fake world which only exists in their mind.  It has been created by the computers to occupy the people whilst they are being a human battery plant.  Then there are the select few, who have come out of the matrix, who see the illusion for what it is.  They learn to go inside and manipulate the matrix, to change it for their own benefit, and to break free from its limitations.

And so it is.  The matrix is where we live when we are not soul aware.  We are just ambling through our days, being more the victim of circumstance and not taking a part in how things are playing out.  When we choose to step out of this illusory world, when we take the red pill, we open up our consciousness to the realm of the soul.  We see the bigger picture in things and we become the master of our destiny.  We are able to change the illusory world for our benefit.  We are able to shape and create our reality.

Once we have opened to soul, we cannot go back to our old world.  We are freed from the matrix from that point onwards.  Try watching this film from this expanded perspective.  How far down the rabbit hole would you like to go?...

We all are icebergs under a cloudy sky

Just like icebergs, which have 80-85% of their mass hidden under the water, what we see when we look at a human body is only a small fraction of what comprises a total person.
We are more than our personality self – we also have a soul and a monad, and they are the true essence of who we really are.  Our personality self is just the vehicle for the soul to express itself through, and in the course of the ascension initiations the personality will be burnt up and replaced by full soul integration, subsequently being followed by monadic integration.  We are not a physical body having a soul experience, we are a soul having a physical experience.

When we look at our physical body, we see only the flesh and bones part.  We see the physical body breaking down with dis-ease.  However, like the iceberg, there is more to the human body than you can see on the surface.  We have an intricate subtle anatomy system comprised of chakras and layers of subtle bodies.  We have nadis lines and meridians.  All dis-ease in the physical body first comes from a disturbance in this subtle anatomy system.
When we think about our personality-self blundering about in the dark before it becomes soul aware, it is as if it is living under a cloudy sky.  Everything seems disconnected and confusing. We are unable to make sense of the larger picture of events unfolding in our lives and we feel very much alone.  However, imagine yourself in an airplane.  Once at a high altitude, the airplane is able to pass through the layer of cloud and pierce through to the glorious sunshine which awaits on the other side.  You can see the cloud far below and see things from a new perspective.

The same applies to consciousness.  If we can raise our consciousness to the plane of the soul, we are able to pierce through the dense layers of astral and lower metal patterns and we can start to live from the higher mental plane.  We are able to see the bigger picture in things and we no longer feel as if we are disconnected and alone.  We can see and feel the sunshine radiating out at the plane of soul and send the clarity of that vision down to the personality below the clouds so that it can be guided by the soul and be the vehicle for the soul’s expression on earth.

So when you think of the human body and personality, try to see past what you can see with your physical eyes and what you can experience with your senses.  See the bigger picture of the soul and monad behind the personality, guiding and supporting it.  See the levels of subtle anatomy vitalising the physical, and remember, we all are icebergs under a cloudy sky!

Attachments

Attachments to things, people and systems are something we need to look at when we are on the spiritual path.  We need to make sure that we have released our attachments.  You need to ask yourself: can you stand alone and be in your own light, by yourself alone, and provide for yourself?  If the answer is no, then you have an attachment.  This attachment is a neediness, it means that you can’t survive without an external force.  This external force could be a person, the government, a benefits system etc.  What we need to look at is the attachment to the need, and not the need itself.  It doesn’t mean that we have to live alone in poverty and have no friends, it is about having neediness for those things.  If you can stand in your own light you will be surrounded by the group, you won’t be alone or unsupported.  You will stand alone but be united.  You will then find a real strength where people aren’t leaning on each other for support.  Once someone starts to lean, the whole structure can fall.

Our relationships with others are often our biggest opportunities for learning.  Look at whether you have an unhealthy attachment in your close relationships.  Is there equal energy exchange, or is one person relying more on another to have their needs met?  This also extends to your emotional wellbeing.  I love this quote:

Happiness is a state of mind, not the state of a romantic relationship.  Happiness should be understood as something you have all the time, regardless of what your partner is doing.  You must not put the responsibility for your happiness on your partner.  It is your own responsibility.  This lesson has a lot to do with whether you have preferences or attachments regarding what your partner does.  If you have preferences, you can be happy no matter what.  If you have attachments, you will sometimes feel like a loser”. – Joshua David Stone, Soul Psychology.

Where are you up to with your attachments?  Is there some neediness that you can be addressing right now?  Release the ball and chain, you'll feel much lighter...

Circles of Light

There is an affirmation of the disciple (found here)  from the Lucis Trust which starts with “I am a point of light within a greater light”.  If you ponder on this statement, you find yourself immersed in circles of light.  It works on many levels:

Personality: I, the personality, am a point of light within a greater light which is the body of humanity.

Personality: I, the personality, am a point of light in a 3D world, within a greater light which is the soul.

Soul Extension: I, the soul extension, am a point of light within a greater light, my family of 12 soul extensions.

Soul: I, the soul, am a point of light within a greater light, the monad

Monad: I, the monad, am a point of light within a greater light, god/source.

I put this into a diagram to help visualise these circles of light:

The Violet Flame

The violet flame forgives as it frees, consumes as it transmutes, clears the records of past karma (thus balancing your debts to life), equalises the flow of energy between yourself and other lifestreams, and propels you into the arms of the living God – El Morya

The violet flame is the essence of the seventh ray.  When you invoke it, it descends as a beam of spiritual energy and bursts into a spiritual flame in your heart as the qualities of mercy, forgiveness, justice, freedom and transmutation.  Saint Germain is the Lord of the Seventh Ray, and the violet flame is his gift to humanity.

The violet flame works on the subtle bodies by changing the rate of their vibration.  When our physical body and energetic system become clogged by negative energy and karma, it slows down the vibration of the electrons in our four lower bodies.  We then begin to resonate more with negativity, and eventually we become ill.

The violet flame transmutes anything negative that is lodged anywhere in your physical or subtle being.  This can include everything from thought patterns to physical viruses.  When the violet flame goes to work it passes through the clogged spaces between the electrons and the nuclei.  It ejects these particles of dense substance from the body and dissolves them.  This process transmutes the negative energy into positive energy and restores it to its native purity.  The energy of the Seventh Ray is about transmutation of freedom.

The violet flame works like soap getting dirt out of your clothes by using the positive and negative charges of the atoms.  When we invoke the violet flame, it sets up a polarity between the nucleus of the atom and the white-fire core of the flame.  This nucleus, being matter, assumes the negative pole while the white-fire core of the violet flame, being Spirit, assumes the positive pole.  The interaction between the nucleus of the atom and the light in the violet flame establishes an oscillation.  This oscillation dislodges the densities that are trapped between the electrons orbiting the nucleus.  As this hardened substance that weighs down the atom is loosened, it is thrown into the violet flame and carried away.  The violet flame transforms it into pure light energy.  Freed of this debris, the electrons begin to move more freely, thus raising our vibration and light quotient and re-establishing balance and harmony.

Using the Violet Flame in Healing

 *      You can visualise the violet flame as a violet fire in front of you.  Take out a section of the flame with your hand and see the flame hovering in the palm of your hand.  Put the flame into the energy field of yourself or your client and see the violet flame spreading in the subtle bodies so that it permeates the entire energy field.  Use the intention that the violet flame transmutes anything not serving the person in their highest and best good into white light.  See the energy field turning from violet to white light when this is done.

*       At the end of a healing session, surround the client with pentagrams.  Bring in the violet flame and see their energy field filled with the violet flame.  See this turn to white light.

*       Ask for St Germain to bring forth the violet flame to transmute any negativity and negative patterns into white light.

*      Send the violet flame to any areas of the body which have a physical disturbance.  See the part of the body surrounded by violet fire, and also direct the flame to the cause of the disturbance.

Other uses for the Violet Flame

*       Ask St Germain to bring forth the violet flame to make food of its highest atomic structure possible.  See the violet flame on your food turning to white light.

*       Surround yourself with the violet flame for protection.  See it filling your energy field with violet.

*       Use violet flame decrees to bring the violet flame into your body and your life situations.  Examples are:

I AM a being of violet fire! I AM the purity God desires!

I AM the violet flame
In action in me now
I AM the violet flame
To Light alone I bow
I AM the violet flame
In mighty cosmic power
I AM the light of God
Shining every hour
I AM the violet flame
Blazing like a sun
I AM God's sacred power

Your thoughts create your reality...

The fact that your thoughts create your reality can be a difficult one for people to come to terms with.  Once you accept this, you have to take responsibility for yourself, for your life, and for your part in things.  It no longer allows you to play the victim.  How can you be a victim if you created the situation in the first place?  Some people thrive from the drama and the sympathy that can be gained by being the victim.  It is an easy way to live as it’s not your fault, you are the wronged party and you accept no responsibility for yourself whatsoever.  This serves no purpose for soul growth and is actually disempowering to us as human beings.

Once you realise you are the creator of your reality to can take charge of the situation.  If you don’t like it you can change it; change your thinking, change your attitude.  You can take charge of your thoughts and be more mindful of them, trying to encourage positive thoughts, and cancelling out the negative ones.  It allows you to take responsibility of your situation.  If you don’t like it, don’t create it (or if you have created it, see the bigger picture and the opportunity).  We need to be creating from our higher mind, from the place of soul, and not be consumed in the limitations and fear created by the lower mind.

This follows on from my post about contracts and looking for the gift and opportunity in situations, and taking responsibility for our part in things.  Our soul draws to us the people, places and situations we need to master ourselves.  Everything is carefully co-ordinated.  We need to realise that and take up the opportunity we have been presented with for our growth.  Our soul doesn’t care if we don’t, it will just quietly wait for the next moment when it can present us with the opportunity again.  It may be in a different guise, but the lesson outcome will be the same.  So, when you look at things from that perspective, it makes you want to roll your sleeves up and just jump in and get on with it.  If we ignore things, they will just come around again, more magnified the next time.

You may be wanting an example of just how thoughts can create our reality.  How can we see this simply in practice in the world?  Take for instance a woman who is insecure in her relationship and she is fearful that her husband will have an affair.  She will keep thinking ‘he’s having an affair’, ‘he’s going to have an affair’, she will be re-affirming this thought again and again.  This will have an impact on the husband who will then eventually have an affair due to the broken relationship, leading the woman to easily slip into the victim role, and congratulate herself that she knew all along that he’d have an affair.  Not of course realising that it was a self-fulfilling prophecy!

Another example could be with your health.  You have a twinge of pain somewhere.  Instead of realising that this is a message from your body, or something naturally working its way through your system, you immediately panic.  You are sure it is something bad, you fret about it, and keep putting your thoughts and energy to the body part and before you know it, you have manifested the illness you have been fretting about, the illness you created with your thoughts.

So how do we keep our thoughts constructive?  Try not to indulge in negative thinking, in thoughts that could be harmful towards yourself and others, and in gossip.  It’s not as easy as it sounds, and it does take a lot of practice.  Be gentle with yourself if you do slip up.  If you notice any ‘bad’ thoughts that will be creating negative situations for you, just pull yourself up, think ‘cancel’, and mentally say to yourself that you ‘wish to undo the effects of that thought in all dimensions and directions of time’.  That will allow you to negate the thought and reel it back in before it is sent out to the universe to come back to you in manifested form.

Remember, energy follows thought, so choose your thoughts wisely.  They are the most powerful tools you have!

The soul is eternal, the body is transient

“Most men do not as yet distinguish with accuracy between themselves as the THINKER, persistent in time and space, and the vehicle through which they think, which is ephemeral and transient” Alice A Bailey – Treatise on Cosmic Fire

Ponder on this statement.  Our body, the physical part of us in this incarnation, is the vehicle for the soul.  Imagine a car.  The car is the vehicle, but by itself it goes nowhere.  It has the potential, and the means by which to do so, but it requires a driver to be the guiding force and steer the car where it needs to go.  The same applies with the soul and the physical body/personality self.  The physical body is the vehicle, and it has the potential and means by which to go around in this 3D world, but it needs the soul, the ‘thinker’ to be the driving force.
This body is just a jacket for the more eternal part of yourself.  Anyone who has witnessed the passing of a loved one will know that once the moment of death occurs, whatever spark that animated that loved one and made them who they are has been extinguished, and you are just left with the shell, the vehicle that housed that spark.  That spark is soul.

Lifetime to lifetime we work on our lessons and master aspects of ourself which are stored in the causal rings of the monad, and this information, these gifts, are there for the soul to draw upon to feed to its current incarnation.  I like also to think of a puppet.  The personality is the puppet and the soul is the puppet master.  We need to allow the soul to be the guider of our actions and thoughts, as that is who we really are.  This body of ours, this incarnation, will come to an end at some point, but that is not the end of us.  We are soul, we are eternal.

Contracts

Before we come into incarnation, we meet with the karmic board and decide what lessons need to be learnt in the coming lifetime, and what situations and opportunities will allow us to master those lessons.  We choose the parents which will give us great learning and mastering opportunities.  We make contracts with other people for them to come into our lives and play a part so that we are given an opportunity to master a lesson which we have decided we need to learn.  Whether or not we take up the opportunity, or recognise it as an opportunity is another matter!

Bearing this in mind, we have to look at everything from the bigger perspective.  When we are stuck in the middle of a personality drama, it can be hard to recognise the gift and learning opportunity in an experience.  If someone has just done something seemingly terrible to us, our personality can go on a wobble and play the victim.  We can then experience issues such as unresolved anger.  We are the wronged party, we didn’t deserve that to happen to us etc etc.  However, if we look at it from the bigger perspective, that person has made a contract to come into our life to carry out the said deed, and within that comes a great gift of us being able to forgive the person.  How can we experience forgiveness without something to forgive?

There could be other qualities and lessons that we need to master.  Do we need to be loving, do we need to be nurturing, do we need to be selfless, do we need to be giving?  In order to experience anything we require people to come into our life to act out their part of the contract and provide us with the opportunity for growth.  We too, play our part in the lives of others.

So next time you are wrestling with the effects other people have on you, try and see the bigger picture of what is going on and see the gift and learning opportunity in the experience.  It is better to try and get to grips with something and master it rather than being consumed by the personality.  If at first we don’t get it, the soul will try, try again!

"We have both been All Of It. We have been the Up and the Down of it, the Left and the Right of it. We have been the Here and the There of it, the Now and the Then of it. We have been the male and the female, the good and the bad; we have both been the victim and the villain of it."

"Thus have we come together, you and I, many times before; each bringing to the other the exact and perfect opportunity to Express and to Experience Who We Really Are.”

– The Little Soul and the Sun, Neale Donald Walsch
